Lorie & Troy move back up to Lake Erie after being in Columbus for 6 1/2
years to open their store front in Conneaut, Ohio. They find the perfect
location in the harbor area at 198 Park Avenue Suite 2 (Between Subway &
Biscotti's).

We were excited to be back at the Conneaut Community Center for the Arts
for their Holiday Art Craft Market. This show definitely separated the real
shoppers from the average ones. Friday night was a blizzard outside and
still the hard core shoppers and appreciators of art braved the cold, wintry
weather to support the vendors and the community. We would like to thank
all of the people that came to the show and stopped by our booth to say hi.
Thank You. Also would like to thank our friend and fellow artist Irene for
coming out and snapping this picture of us.
In this section of the
Beach News we're
featuring the "Find of
the Month", a place
where the most unique
pieces of beach glass
are posted for everyone
to share & compare to
their own collections. If
you have such a piece
of beach glass & would
like to show it off please
e-mail a picture or stop in
the store. We look
forward to seeing what
you have in your beach
glass collection.
November 11 & 12, 2006
Back in the Columbus area for the Grove City High School Band Boosters
Art & Craft show. They said it was the largest turn out of vendors they'd ever
had. Lorie & I were happy to see some friends that we usually run into at the
Columbus shows. We also met some artists that were doing some different
types of work we'd not seen before. After speaking with them about their
work we discussed carrying their products in both the store front and the
on-line store. Both parties seemed very excited. Be sure to watch the
website for these new products.
"Find of the Month"
This months find comes
from some Beach Glass
collector friends of ours
from the Geneva area.
We're not exactly sure
where it came from.
Someone suggested it
may be ribbon glass.
January 27 - February 11, 2007
We headed west to take part in the Tucson Gem & Jewelry Show. This is the
largest Gem, Mineral & Jewelry show in the world. We met people from all
over. Everyone was very excited with the different style our jewelry. We made
some great contacts with other artists in hopes to bring some of their work
to our area. Next year we may extend our stay longer and try to hit some
other art shows in that part of the country.
